![]() ![]() ![]() Now 4 is where 5 was, and when you land the fish on 5, you have 4 and 5 in the wrong slots. Now 5 gets a hit before you can put 4 in the holder. So you put the lure away and now you're down to one rod. I say that because if you're throwing a lure and you're on a retrieve, you might have to press 5 multiple times to get the sequence to begin. To switch effectively, you can just use the number associated with the rod, so if I am using rod 4 and rod 5 gets a strike, I can press 5 and the rod switch sequence is activated. IRL you have a lot more time to deal with a fish than you have in this particular rendition of the latest update. You must be really quick to not miss a strike. Another issue is simply putting down a rod and picking up the active rod. The timer is so short that the strike will timeout before your cast is complete on long casts. The problem arises when you're casting and you get a hit on the other rod. ![]() When you use two, you're going to start encountering some issues - especially when it comes to switching between rods to set the hook on a fish. ![]()
